Album Review - from AYOTI
This is my favorite Modest Mouse album since The Moon &
Antarctica (which was basically a 10/10 for me). The band do a great job of combining their usual sound with modern
production styles from hip hop, dance and psychedelic rock. The lyrical themes seem to revolve around the failures of
modern Western society and are much more powerful than the lyrics on the last two albums as a result of their passion.
This is exactly what a Modest Mouse record in 2015 should sound like.
